ශාලාවේදී ක්‍රියාත්මක විමට නියමිත අතර ශ්‍රී ලංකා බැඩ්මින්ටන් සම්මේලනයේ අධික්ෂණය
යටතේ මධ්‍යම පළාත් බැඩ්මින්ටන් සම්මේලනය මෙහෙයවන ඉහළ මට්ටමේ ජාතික ශ්‍රේණිගත
කිරීම් තරගාවලියක් වන මධ්‍යම පළාත් බැඩ්මින්ටන් විවෘත සූරතාවලිය මහනුවර ශාන්ත
අන්තෝනි විද්‍යාලීය ගෘහස්ථ ක්‍රීඩාංගණයේ දී ජනවාරි 25 සිට 29 දක්වා පැවත්වීමට
නියමිතව ඇත.
ආධුනික බැඩ්මින්ටන් සූරතාවලියේ අයදුම්පත් මෙන්ම මධ්‍යම පළාත් බැඩ්මින්ටන්
විවෘත සූරතාවලියේ ද අයදුම්පත් ශ්‍රී ලංකා බැඩ්මින්ටන් සංගමයෙන් ලබා ගැනීමට හැකි
අතර ආධුනික තරගාවලියේ අයදුම්පත් ලබා ගැනීමේ අවසාන දිනය ජනවාරි 12 දා වන අතර මධ්‍යම
පළාත් තරගාවලියේ අයදුම්පත් ලබා ගැනීම 18 දා අවසන් වේ.
මධ්‍යම පළාත් තරගාවලියේ නිල තොරතුරු ඇතුළත් ඉල්ලුම් පත්‍රය වැඩිදුර තොරතුරු

Rules & Regulations
I.
CPBA
open 2011
will be conducted from 25th to 29th January 2012 at St. Anthony’s College Indoor stadium
Katugastota, Kandy.
II.
All
the senior open events shall be National Ranking Level 1 Events.
III.
Entry
Forms are available at SLBA Office.
IV.
Entry
fees as in the entry form and should be paid with the entry forms to the Sri
Lanka Badminton Association.
V.
Age to be calculated as at 01st January 2012 for junior events and as at 31st December 2012 for Veteran events.
VI.
Cork
based nylon shuttlecocks
will be used for junior events and feather shuttlecocks will be used for
all other events.
VII.
Competitors
will be allowed to take part only in one age category and any number
of open Events.
VIII.
The
Championships shall consist of the events mentioned in the Entry Form.
IX.
The
Championships will run on a knock out basis and all matches will be
played according to the rules and regulations of Badminton approved by the BWF
and as adopted by the SLBA.
X.
The
tournament committee may cancel an event in the Championships if there are
less than 5 entries.
XI.
Depending
on the number of entries the tournament committee may conduct qualifying
rounds.
XII.
Players
are subject to a minimum of 30 minutes rest period between any two
matches.
XIII.
Players
must be punctual
and any player, who does not turn up for his/her match at the time allotted,
will be liable to have a walk over given against him/her. Ten minutes (10)
grace will be allowed. No postponements shall be allowed under any
circumstances.
XIV.
Competitors
shall be allowed to play with the double partner nominated by them in the entry
form. Partner name should necessarily be indicated on the Entry Form. Entry
forms without partners name will be rejected at the time of draw.
XV.
A
competitor will be allowed to substitute a partner if his original partner is
prevented from playing through illness, injury or other unavoidable hindrance
Such proposed substitute shall be notified to the tournament Referee or an
appointed Official in writing before the commencement of that
particular event. Such substitution should not be of a higher rank
than the original player and the new combination should not be of a standard
higher than the original combination. The substitute should not have entered
the same event separately.
XVI.
The
Referee shall be in overall charge of the tournament or event of which a
match forms part. The decision of the umpire or all maters connected with the
actual play in the match of which he/she is umpiring shall be final.
XVII.
All
disputes with regard to the championships shall be referred to the Referee
& the Tournament Committee. On all matters connected with the
tournament and on any matters not provided for the decision of the
Tournament Committee shall be final binding on all participants.
XVIII.
If
a player concedes a walk over in any event due to injury/illness or
absence she/he will not be permitted to compete in any other event of
the tournament on the same day. Exceptional circumstances will be
referred to the referee or appointed officials for a decision.
XIX.
For
Junior Events from under 11 to 15, the entries should be certified by
the Principal of the school or copy of Birth Certificate should be
produced to confirm the age. For senior events the NIC or Passport
should be produced if requested.
XX.
Entries
will close on
18th January 2012 at 5.00 p.m. at SLBA,
Maitland Place, Colombo 07. Draw will be displayed SLBA Notice Board
from 23rd January 2012.
XXI.
If entries
are sent by post (registered or normal) the participants shall ensure
that the entries are received by SLBA before the closing date/time. The
tournament Committee will not be responsible for postal delays.
XXII.
Cash
prizes
and Certificates will be awarded to all Winners and Runner-ups.
